Hotties Vintage – upcoming shows and events – April & May

With finishing the day job in January and then consulting into February, if didn’t really get started on focusing on my businesses until March.  Which means I’ve not yet traded at any vintage markets or event in 2017.

Another reason is that I don’t own car at the moment, which means I have to rely on Malc to take me to shows…. which I don’t like to do unless I really have too!  But, a future post will explain my plan there.

This post is about the next few shows and events I have booked in, and yes, Malc will be dropping me off with all my stock!

First up is the Earl Haig Jumble Sale on Sunday 30th April.

Run by Jet of Can’t Buy Me Love, I’m really looking forward to this market.  I’ve traded at Jet’s events before at the Boogaloo in Highgate and always had a great time.

The market is open 12-5pm, and it’s free entry.

Next up is something quite different.  We’ve arranged for an Introduction to Pinstriping class to be held at the workshop on Saturday 6th May.   This will be taught by ‘Sweet Jane’ of Vintage Pinstripe.

Its a days course that give a general introduction to the basic styles and designs and a practical element of ‘how to’

The class cost £120 per person and includes lunch and refreshments.  Paints and panels are provided and there is a student discount available on brushes on the day.

Then the following weekend I am up in Harlow for the Chari-Tease Presents A Vintage Fair

This is an event in aid of Stroke Association which is a combination of vintage stalls, a vintage hair salon and live burlesque entertainment.

Running from 11am-4pm and with an entry of £1, it looks to be a fun day.

I have a couple more events planned in for the end of May, but they deserve a post in themselves, so more to follow on those.

Hopefully I’ll see you at one (or more) event!
